Process
My creative mission is to delight eye and mind by pushing collage into new dimensions, and putting my own spin on it. Drawing on the Reiki process of infusing the work with healing energy I am liberating my hands to create my own abstract vocabulary of forms, lines, words, language. These fluid works express emotion through hand-drawn lines as well as stock illustrations in Canva and Open Source collections.
I am a literal abstract digital collagist based in Wilmington, DE. I'm always on the tightrope of Decorative vs. Fine Art aesthetics and only get satisfied when the work resonates as problem solved.
I have also been writing poetry and making art my entire life. After decades painting in oil and acrylic, I found a new way to express myself in digital work beginning in 2019. Works range from interpretations of emotion to abstract portraits of people and animals. Also my work spans medium size to a larger scale, on billboards, public videos, etc.
My new work is digital fine art printed on canvas. The work expresses a collage sensibility.
