Opposite Dichotomies (A place I left)

The best job I ever had was a year at The Metropolitan Museum of Art. I took my best friend Susie to the Costume Institute where she wore the vintage dresses while I sketched her. It was preparation for a collage exhibition at a vanity gallery in Hell's Kitchen. Usually artists go from vanity to museum but I'm the opposite (my super power). Susie had a friend who could pull the spirit out of your body and have a conversation with you as you. The inner me evidently knew what she was doing but the outer me wasn't listening. I never should have left that job but I wasn't cognizant of the get a second job concept especially while pursuing an art career.

Purpose

Every purchase helps support the creation of my graphic novel, My Life in Panels: Mid-Century Modern to Zombie, a personal story drawn from my life.
